Pardon the Mess…

April 30, 2009

I also forgot to mention… pardon the mess on my website — It’s a work in progress.

I am working on gutting my site and starting over with all new images and an all new look. Unfortunately, that takes time and between shooting sessions, editing, meetings, a very active toddler… ok, so I’m full of excuses.

Either way, I am actively working on it. So, for now, some images have borders, some do not. Eventually, everything will have borders and be awesome looking! But for now it’s a bit awkward and I apologize. I am one of those people who has to have everything matching so it’s going to make me twitchy until I finish it!

I can’t believe I forgot to blog about this!

Friday May 8th, starting at 8am there will be a Charity Golf Tournament at the Pine Ridge Golf Course in Lutherville, MD. Last I heard there were still a few foursomes available if you are interested. The tournament is to benefit the Baltimore Child Abuse Center. I am donating a free session + 11×14 wall print to the auction so go and help raise money.

For more information, go to their site.

I’m just sharing two… I learned my lesson from sharing my favorites from Janie and Jack… let’s not overload!

The last time I saw this handsome guy, he did not feel like smiling at me. Not today– he was full of smiles!

I just LOVE it when people are up for something non-traditional.

Ok, I am making myself stop here. If I let myself continue, I’ll be here all night!

TracyT: Wow. AMAZING

TracyT: OOPS, wasn't finished, LOL... what I was trying to say is that these are amazing. I love your processing & I really love that last one!!!

Take a look at how my daughter wanted to dress to play outside this afternoon.

She’s so stylish.

She is wearing: one of her favorite shirts (it’s got little birds all over it), TWO pettiskirts — a red on underneath that you can’t see very well, with a fuschia one on top (she picked up the red one saying “skirt! skirt!” so I helped her put it on then she pointed at the fuschia one “pink! pink!”), her toddler-sized gardening gloves, her butterfly fairy-princess wand, the pink ribbon necklace, the black fuzzy purse, her ladybug antennae from her Halloween costume, a pair of jeans (which was a battle to get her to wear) and her new pink sparkly tennis shoes.

I was originally going to post photos of Easter and show off her beautiful Easter dress and talk about how nice it was to see family… but really… I can’t top this outfit. Silly girl.

Sarah Tolson: Oh mylanta.... love her! :)

Amy: Hee, hee - She's just too much!

These three girls are so beautiful! We had a lot of fun in the field playing dressup in the pettiskirts.

If you want a pettiskirt in your session, let me know! I am working on my collection (I currently have a toddler sized candy pink one, with a red one and fuschia one in other sizes on the way). I hope to get even more as time goes on!

Lina: Oh, i love those! Great job, love it!

I love working with silhouettes! They can make an image look so dramatic. Especially when combined with an action shot, like jumping (or even leaning in to kiss in an engagement session)… it’s just fun.

These two kids were a TON of fun to shoot. So full of energy! I wish I could bottle it up and use it to replace my morning coffee. :)
